8月27日 臺灣古道權威楊南郡紀念日(1931~2016/8/27)
臺灣古道權威楊南郡，1931(昭和6)年出身臺南龍崎，他以數十年時間走遍臺灣山脈古道，精通南島各語族文化，一本又一本的著作啟發了無數的人。戰後臺灣九成以上的古道調查，幾乎都是楊南郡老師夫婦所完成。
楊南郡老師於2016年8月27日因癌症辭世，享年85歲。
