Star Wars Day - Wikipedia

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars_Day

Star Wars Day, May 4, celebrates Star Wars created by George Lucas. It is observed by fans of the movies. Observance of the holiday spread quickly through media and grassroots celebrations. The date was chosen for the easy pun on the catchphrase "May the Force be with you" as "May the Fourth be with you".

There's a day for everything, so of course there's one for Star Wars, complete with pun - "May the 4th be with you." For fans, here's a classic moment from "The Power of Myth," in which Joseph Campbell draws parallels between Star Wars and mythological themes of heroism.
