世界戲劇日:開幕

從巴黎到赫爾辛基到柏林:3月27日,全世界超過100個國家都在慶祝世界戲劇日。在當今多難多危的世界,戲劇的作用更顯重要。

狄俄倪索斯劇場(Theatre of Dionysus)是希臘雅典的一個露天劇場,它是世界上最古老的劇場之一。
(德國之聲中文網)這個想法來源於芬蘭:1961年,芬蘭人在維也納第九屆世界歌劇會議上建議推出世界戲劇日,該建議得到了各方的積極響應。並以全票通過把3月27日巴黎"國際戲劇節"開幕的這一天定為世界戲劇日。在剛剛開始的一年裡就推出了許多特別節目和人氣很旺的公共活動--而且是在當時全世界的許多國家都還沒有設立國際戲劇協會中心(ITI)的時候。
開放日和獎項
德國各地的劇院都會在"開放日"這一天向觀眾打開大門,讓他們瞭解光彩奪目的劇院後台是什麼樣子。同時也會為一位戲劇界的傑出人物頒发沒有獎金的獎項:2017年的獲獎者是戲劇導演及作家洛能(Yael Ronen),
國際戲劇協會德國中心的網頁上寫著:"跨文化的貫穿連通是戲劇的立命之本"。這也是戲劇創作者深刻理解,並且從第一個世界戲劇日開始,就通過精選的代言人向全球獻辭的內容。國際知名的戲劇界專業人士包括科克托(Jean Coteau)、米勒(Arthur Miller)、奧利弗(Laurence Olivier)、 聶魯達(Pablo Neruda)以及哈維爾(Václav Havel)都曾應國際戲劇協會的邀請,留下過他們關於戲劇在社會中會究竟可以發揮何種作用的思考。

2018年的獻辭人包括來自科特迪瓦的萊京(Werewere Liking)、黎巴嫩的芝比勃(Maya Zbib)、印度的巴亞其(Ram Gopal Bajaj)、英國的邁克伯尼(Simon McBurney)和墨西哥的貝爾曼(Sabina Berman)。他們的獻詞被翻譯成多種語言刊登在國際戲劇協會的主頁上,其中包括芝比勃的這段話:"通過敘事的功力和想像力,我們從戲劇中可以用另一種眼光看待他人和這個世界。在冷漠和排斥橫行的時代,戲劇為共同思考提供了一種空間。"---黎巴嫩的芝比勃(Maya Zbib)
