【國際中心╱綜合外電報導】法國時尚界大亨貝爾傑(Pierre Berge)昨天在睡夢中去世,享壽86歲,他是已故設計大師聖羅蘭(Yves Saint Laurent)的多年伴侶,也是聖羅蘭事業集團的智囊,曾熱心幫助中國民運人士逃離中國。
貝爾傑也是中國民主運動的推手之一,六四天安門事件時,他成立「中國民主之家」,並在「黃雀行動」中,協助民運人士逃出中國。

熱中社會運動

貝爾傑也是知名的藏書家與藝品收藏家,並熱中社會運動,長年為同性戀者爭取權益,曾慷慨捐出大筆財產用於愛滋研究。
2008年聖羅蘭去世,他隔年把兩人共同收藏的多件藝品交給佳士得拍賣,包括圓明園知名12獸首中的鼠首與兔首,曾引起中國強烈抗議。
